Wedding Policy
It is our desire that your special day be as beautiful and memorable as possible. Your wedding flowers are the final exquisite touch and we will work closely with you to have everything exactly as you’ve dreamed. We have found it is helpful for all concerned to have a clear understanding of our policies.
Please make an appointment for your initial conference so that our wedding consultant can give you individual attention. GMK Floral Designs will set up about an hour to an hour and half wedding floral consultation. During this time you and your consultant will share ideas, look at pictures and the consultant will suggest possible approaches. Following the consultation, you will receive a detailed quote to review. Also, note that a quote from us does not guarantee a particular date. Your wedding is booked on our calendar when we receive your deposit. We must limit the number of weddings per weekend in order to give each one the care it deserves.
To reserve a date, we require a deposit of $100.00 (non-refundable) at the time the order is confirmed, with the balance being due no later than two (2) weeks prior to the wedding date. At this time, you will sign and receive a copy of our wedding contract which will specifically outline all flowers and services agreed upon. Any changes made after the contract has been agreed upon must be made in writing to your wedding consultant and signed by you. For cancellations and/or changes made during the fourteen (14) days prior to the wedding, we will decide each refund on a case-by-case basis, depending on flowers already purchased or work already completed.
Where specific varieties of flowers have been defined, we reserve the right to make substitutions of equivalent value whenever market conditions affect the integrity of the proposed design or color scheme.
